FTP download

Automatically download files from FTP servers as part of your business process workflows. ThinkAutomation will retrieve files from connected sources, and can then run subsequent automations against them once downloaded.

FTP download - overview

  • This baked-in ThinkAutomation action will download files from an FTP or SFTP server
  • ThinkAutomation supports secure FTP server connections, with options for 'Auth TLS', 'SSL', and 'none'
  • You can select a remote path to download files from, enter file names / masks to download, and select a folder to save your downloaded files to
  • As well as downloading, you can also set ThinkAutomation to uploads files or attachments to an FTP / SFTP server
  • ThinkAutomation can then perform any number of further actions on your downloaded files as part of a broader workflow, based on the conditions you set up in its drag-and-drop automation studio
