Email to CSV – overview

  • ThinkAutomation will monitor any connected mailbox 24/7, checking for new messages every minute and running the subsequent automation(s) in subseconds
  • In an “Update CSV file” workflow, ThinkAutomation will create or update a CSV file with fields extracted from new processed emails
  • Write data to a CSV file, add a new line to the CSV file for each message received, and separate each extracted field with a comma
  • CSV files can be ASCII, Unicode or UTF-8 formats
  • You can also run subsequent automations against extracted data and CSVs as needed – with no processing or workflow limitations
